Buyer here, not a seller. I overpaid for a rookie card in a show last spring because the auction got heated and I didn't check anything. Found out later it sold for about half that the week before. Now I keep Comp Buddy open next to the stream. Search the player and set, see recent sales, decide my max before the timer starts. That's it. The free tier covers that for me. Pro ($15/mo) adds the snip tool and auction snipes. I don't need it, but if you buy a lot in shows it might be worth it.
